Your Diagnosis Doesn't Control Your Life - You Do

"I found reasons why I wanted to start living my life again."

Cody

Transcript

If you get diagnosed with something, don’t let it control your life. Because that’s what I did for the year after I got diagnosed. I was so heartbroken now that I had this diagnosis because I couldn’t join the navy. I felt like I had friends that, either they didn’t want to hang out with me anymore, or they just were treating me so differently afterwards, and I just didn’t leave my room for a year or I hardly left my room for a year. Then once I did finally, I found out that I wanted to go into game design, and I found things that I wanted to do, I found reasons why I wanted to start living my life again.
