"If I’m ever in a trouble or in a bind, I know that I can call him."
Transcript
The one thing I want people to know about Cody is that he is so kind and loving. If I’m ever in a trouble or in a bind, I know that I can call him, and he would be there for me in a second. Two years ago I had kidney stones, and he showed up at the hospital and it really kind of took me by surprise because I didn’t think that Cody would even think to come see me in the hospital. So he is really caring and loving, and he really – he has a deep concern for other living things.
His choice to become vegetarian was because he really cared about animals, and he really didn’t want to see them hurt. So I think that’s something that’s kind of shocking because when I watch TV and movies and you see people with schizophrenia and bipolar, they kind of make them seem like they’re these crazy people who don’t have hearts. They jump from emotion to emotion and they don’t know what’s going on. But Cody is completely aware of everything that’s going on, and he actually has the world’s biggest heart. You just might not know that because you might be judging him.

Thanks for sharing! I have an older brother, and an older sister with the same type of illness as Cody. I feel it is so important for us to advocate for them, but it is so hard to do! Thanks, again
Thank you for being an advocate, Karen!
